| Michael Abraham Sr. Writer Michael Abraham likes to call himself a Montreal writer. He moved there in 1993 and worked for Discreet Logic, first as a technical writer, then as features writer for LOGIK magazine. In a fit of pique and with heavy symbolism, he founded Open Wound Writing in 1996, with Discreet Logic as his first client. Since then, he has written for a variety of companies and publications, including Softimage.com, eCreativeSearch.com, Boards Magazine, the IBC Daily News and Broadcast Hardware International. He continues to live in Montreal with his wife Julie and his sons Zachary and Lucas. He has also promised his mother that, one day, he’ll finish that dissertation. |
| Ray Ecke Founder/President After covering the television production and post-production industry for five years as a reporter for Shoot Magazine, Ecke turned his attention to public relations in 1997. He founded Right Word Media, Inc. with the goal of helping creative companies, both large and small, get their fair share of the media spotlight. His company specializes in working with production companies, post-production facilities, broadcast design firms and new media companies, as well as musicians, artists, independent filmmakers and music festivals. A graduate of Montclair State University with a degree in English Literature
and Journalism, Ecke worked as a writer and editor throughout much of
his career. Prior to joining Shoot Magazine he covered such diverse
industries as telemarketing, entertainment licensing and even professional
golf. He still occasionally writes about music, pop culture and sports
for such publications as the New York Press, Cover Magazine and music
website Kweevak.com. |
